As a church, we whole-heartedly believe that a wise person leaves an inheritance for his children's children. From the earliest days METRO began to set aside funds to acquire property and facilities for the future of our growing church family.
METRO MOUNTAIN // In 2007, METRO stepped out to acquire its first property - a rather unusual one. 250 acres of pristine Gold Coast Hinterland (100 acres of which is rain forest) became available and we felt that it was just too unique an opportunity to pass up. Currently, the property sits as a land bank and a fresh air factory but in the future we hope to develop a world class retreat facility on the site where people can take time out to seek God.
SOUTHPORT CAMPUS // In 2008 METRO was blessed to receive a freehold gift of the oldest Pentecostal church facility on the Gold Coast. After a 12 week renovation, the old church was revived into a modern 21st century church facility. This is the current venue METRO meets in from week to week. It is a little tight for our growing family but it is an incredible blessing, to say the least.
ROOM FOR EXPANSION // We are now considering what is the next step for us with regards to our church facility. Having almost out grown our current space we are taking the time to consider what is the next step for us in terms of a site for our future.
